Pneumatic diaphragm pumps made of PP and PVDF are pumps that are used to work with various liquids, including acids, bases, oils, alkalis, refrigerants and fuels. PP pumps are highly stable and can be used with many liquids, such as sodium hydroxide and acidic liquids. Pumps made of this material can safely withstand a liquid temperature of about 60-70 °C. To increase the mechanical strength, PP is reinforced with other materials such as fiberglass and talc. PVDF pumps are more resistant to high temperatures compared to polypropylene and can be used at temperatures up to 90 °C. PVDF is chemically inert to most chemicals, but it costs more than PP. The material is also reinforced to increase mechanical strength. Thus, the choice between PP and PVDF depends on the temperature and type of liquid being pumped: PP is suitable for liquids with a maximum temperature of 60-70 °C, while PVDF is preferred for temperatures up to 90 °C.
